Samsic UK is fielding support to a growing number of Covid-19 NHS Vaccination and Plasma Donor Centres being opened across southern England.
The company teams are working are providing the Princess Royal Sports Arena in Lincoln – one of the country’s first mass vaccination hubs – with daily cleaning and hygiene services, eight hours a day, seven days a week.
Teams are also helping to keep staff and patients safe at the second centre to open in the city at its EXO Centre Lincolnshire Showground.
Samsic UK is additionally providing cleaning and hygiene services to eight NHS Plasma Donor Centres across London and outlying areas.
The company’s hygiene specialist operatives are working 16 hours a day, seven days a week providing services for centres in Arundel, Croydon, Chelmsford, as well as Bexleyheath, Stratford, Tottenham, Twickenham and Great Russell Street in the West End.
The centres have been collecting convalescent plasma – the antibody-rich plasma of people who have had Coronavirus – which can be transfused into people who are struggling to develop their own immune response.
