With the publication of its annual social responsibility report, Samsic reviews its CSR strategy supported by its flagship Sustainable Development project called “Samsic Planet 2030”.
At a time of climate emergency and the need to preserve our environment, while bearing in mind the recent health crisis, “Samsic Planet 2030” highlights the inseparable nature of the group’s commitments on social and environmental issues.
Already well ahead in our social CSR initiatives, we have decided to intensify our commitment to the environment, with two key objectives: to develop increasingly eco-responsible service solutions for our clients and to provide our employees and those working for our clients with safer, cleaner, more welcoming and more stimulating eco-citizen working environments.
The year 2021 was the trigger for many commitments and performances:
• More than 400 initiatives recorded in the latest update of Samsic Facility’s CSR programmes in France.
• The development of a tailor-made Environmental Performance Calculator for our cleaning activities
• The deployment of our CSR Performance Platform with 150 ESG indicators in France, Poland, Italy, and Switzerland.
• The launch of the “Caring for Forests” programme.
Major strategic projects have already been initiated, such as the implementation of a low carbon trajectory by the end of 2023, in line with the objectives of the Science Based Target Initiative aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and the steps taken to achieve, by 2023, the European Ecolabel certification for 50 sites where Samsic provides cleaning services.
